Every week, I schedule in two 45-minute rides and one yoga session as part of my workout routine (full breakdown coming soon!), and it’s about time I shared my thoughts on Peloton. If you’re considering jumping into the world of at-home fitness — especially spin — this review is for you.
Worth Every Penny
For $45 a month, the Peloton membership is honestly a steal. I used to go to spin classes at 24 Hour Fitness and LA Fitness, and let me tell you — it was a whole ordeal. You had to show up 15–20 minutes early, deal with inconsistent instructors, bad music, and get sandwiched between sweaty strangers. Gross.
Now? I roll out of bed, throw on whatever, knock out a solid ride, and hop right into my own shower. No commute. No stress. No fighting over fans or bikes. Considering spin classes around me cost $20 to $40 per class, that $45 monthly fee feels like magic.
I bought my Peloton the week COVID was declared a pandemic and honestly… I’ll never go back.
Favorite Peloton Instructors (and Why)
🔥 Robin Arzón — My Cardio Therapist
Robin is a force. She’ll make you sweat like crazy and cry in the same class — in a good way. She’s powerful, emotional, and if she’s wearing yellow? Game on. Her music isn’t always my favorite, but she nails the balance between hard pushes and motivational grit.
😂 Cody Rigsby — The Class Clown I Never Knew I Needed
If I’m not in the mood to work out, Cody is my go-to. He makes me laugh — especially when he starts talking about food. His pop rides are chill, but his interval classes? Don’t sleep on them — they’re sneaky hard.
🎸 Kendall Toole — The Pop-Punk Queen I Miss
Kendall, please come back! Her SoCal girl vibe, love of pop punk and EDM, and soundtracks straight from my high school and college years made every ride feel like a nostalgic night out.
🌀 Jess King — The Deep House Powerhouse
Jess brings the emotional intensity. Her deep EDM mixes and endurance rides are perfect for letting go of whatever is weighing you down — and sweating it all out.
💃 Camila Ramón — Queen of Reggaeton
Her reggaeton classes are pure joy. I dance (as much as one can on a bike) through the whole ride. Her energy is unmatched, and her rides are pure fun.
Favorite Yoga Instructors
🌅 Aditi Shah & Nico Sarani
My Friday morning sunrise flow rotates between these two. Both have calming voices, intentional movements, and just enough burn to make your legs shake. They both hit hip mobility hard — which is exactly what I need after 40 hours of sitting doing data analysis every week.
Strength Training Picks
💪 Rad Lopez — Classic Moves, Random Beats
Rad’s workouts are effective and easy to follow. He mixes up traditional strength moves with the occasional curveball, and his music playlist? Totally unpredictable — and I kind of love it.
🧱 Olivia Amato — Abs of Steel
If you want your core to scream, take a 10-minute ab session with Olivia. She doesn’t let up — and the results show.
🦾 Robin (Again)
She also brings the heat to strength. No gimmicks, just good programming with strong execution.
Final Thoughts
If you’re on the fence about Peloton, I get it — it’s an investment. But if you love structure, convenience, and high-quality workouts without ever having to fight over a spin bike again? You’ll love it here.
