Don’t know what to do with all those white clothes you bought during your wedding era?
Yeah… same.

I don’t wear white. I get it dirty. It’s high-maintenance. And honestly, I’m not about that life anymore. So now that I’m finally done with my wedding events, bachelorette, and honeymoon, I decided to do something bold—dye them all.
💡 The Dye Plan
I had this gorgeous blue RIT dye leftover from a lace project and figured: why not? I followed the instructions on the box (nothing fancy—just hot water, salt, and a little patience).
I dumped everything into my biggest pot, stirred it like a potion for an hour, and felt like a full-on DIY witch brewing a transformation spell.
🌀 Wash. Dry. Magic.
After the dye bath, I tossed everything into the washer and dryer—and boom!
I now have clothes I’ll actually wear.
Just in time for summer cookouts, Fourth of July vibes, and everyday errands without stressing about dirt or stains.

✨ Pro Tips if You Want to Try This:
- Use a large stainless steel pot that you’re okay dedicating to dyeing.
- Pre-wash your clothes to remove any sizing or softeners.
- Add 1 cup of salt to intensify the color.
- Don’t skip the stirring—even color depends on it!
- Run a cleaning cycle on your washer afterward to remove dye residue.
This was the easiest, most satisfying closet refresh I’ve done in a while—and it cost me nothing new. Just a little time, a leftover box of dye, and some creativity. 💙
